• The collection of the Contemporary Gallery Art Colony Ecka - Zrenjanin is directly related to the work of Art Colony because it mainly includes the works made by authors while staying in the colony. Numerous artists took part in the colony, including both those who started their work during the period between two World wars and the youngest who are finishing academies now.The collection of the Contemporary Gallery Art Colony Ecka - Zrenjanin is directly related to the work of Art Colony because it mainly includes the works made by authors while staying in the colony. • The collection has been becoming richer and richer through the donations of the state institutions including, the most important one, the donation of the Federal Executive Council in 1963 which open the way for the works of artists who did not stay in the colony.
•  Such a policy of collecting and forming the work collection, which today contains about two thousand five hundred works of various art techniques from all the parts of our country and abroad, has enabled not only the monitoring of the activities of Ecka colony but also the providing of the review of contemporary Yugoslav art since 1945 up to now.
•  Having become distinguished and significant the collection needs further scientific-historic research, sorting out, classifying and presentation.  The collection includes paintings, sculptures, graphics, drawings, pastilles, aquarelles, tapestries, photographs, digital and video – works and installations.
